What I built
DeepRoots is a complete WordPress plugin for real families—not a generic genealogy widget. I own the full stack: interactive D3 family tree, member logins, dashboards, calendars, collaboration, memorial, messaging, AI assistant, security (2FA), and WordPress admin tools.
- Interactive family tree — 32 layouts, pan/zoom/search, photo nodes, exports, relationship tools (English & Bengali)
- Member access — per-member login, optional 2FA, family-scoped data, member dashboard
- Family collaboration — feed, events, RSVP, private messaging, stories, memorial, gift registry
- Family Connect — AI assistant, condolences, online messenger (24-hour retention)
- WordPress admin — 80+ profile fields, multi-family support, CSV/JSON import-export, change approval
